  Highland Tank Pressure Vessels

With nearly 30 years of experience in fabricating, we are experts in the design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and certification of Pressure Vessels. We are certified to manufacture unfired pressure vessels whose construction complies with ASME Code, Section VIII, Division I and welding in accordance with Section IX. Highland labels ASME vessels with a "U" for unfired pressure vessels with authority granted by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. We are also certified to make alterations or perform repairs on vessels in operation, in which case an "R" label would be applied. Additional codes such as NFPA and AWWA may affect design requirements if the vessel is to be used for water service. Our ASME Code approved quality control program monitors the design, materials, construction, welding, and testing methods employed throughout the vessel production.

Highland Tank offers:

Hydropneumatic Tanks are ASME vessels that contain both water and air under pressure.

Chlorine Contact Tanks are typically used with chlorine injection equipment in a well water system to help comply with strict new drinking water standards.

Fire Protection Tanks
are hydropneumatic water storage tanks specifically designed for use in private fire protection systems.

Hot Water Tanks
are used in commercial buildings, institutional facilities, and assorted industries that require a constant supply of hot water.

HighDROTM Chilled Water Tanks are used in conjunction with large HVAC installations, resulting in fewer cycles of the compressor and better temperature control overall.

Boiler Blowdown Tanks
are used to control blowdown of a boiler so that the level of dissolved solids is minimized to reduce scaling in the boiler.

Flash Tanks
are used in boiler operations to recover and reuse the blowdown heat in a waste heat recovery system.

Air Receiver Tanks
provide compressed air when short-term demand exceeds the compressor output.
